Show Farmington News named Kelly Marie and grandmother grand-mother enjoyed this new baby. She also visited with a brother, Darrell and Coral Wood in Castro Valley. The group spent some time in the mountain cabin in the area of the original gold mines, a historic his-toric area. She visited with another brother and wife, Riley and Jean Wood in Bailey City. Jeri also enjoyed riding the rather new rapid transit which has been built under the bay, called Bart. Then there was also sightseeing throughout the bay area. The Literary Guild will meet on Oct. 27 at the home of Lynette Shaw with Coy Lof-gren Lof-gren presenting the program. Farmington Fourth Ward sponsored an evening of social activities on Thursday evening. even-ing. There was a dinner followed fol-lowed by square dancing in the Stake Center. Jill Dredge, recreation re-creation director was in charge. The square dancing Brown family took care of all the calling for dancing. North Farmington Stake will sponsor an all stake evening even-ing on Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. in the Farmington North Center on Shepard Lane. This is for the Relief Societies. The ladies will make Christmas Christ-mas gifts costing no more than 25 cents. Each member will take just $2 to make a variety of gifts. Mary Lou Lloyd will be in charge. On Oct. 28 there will be a meeting for any interested persons per-sons on "Home and Neighborhood Neighbor-hood Preparedness" at the Compton Bench church. The Sixth Ward is sponsoring this important program to learn instructive in-structive information in case of a disaster in the area.
