Show J SOAP OPERA WEEK L Jackie 'Bobbi' Zeman .returns to fiGH' cast By Nancy M. Reichardt "General Hospital" fans will have cause to celebrate next month when the show begins airing scenes taped by former "GH" actress Jackie Zeman, who has returned to the cast as Bobbi Spencer. During her soap absence, Jackie was seen in the summer sum-mer movie hit "Young Doctors Doc-tors in Love" and she will soon appear in the upcoming film "National Lampoon's Class Reunion." if V...., its debut on June 30, 1952, after 15 years as a radio favorite. The show was a pioneer in on-location taping techniques, having taken their cameras to such exotic spots as St. Croix and the Canary Islands. Also from Guiding Light" comes word that Pat Falken-Smith Falken-Smith has already begun as that show's new principal writer. Miss Falken-Smith, who began her serial writing career as head writer of "Days of Our Lives," replaces Douglas Marland, who began scripting "GL" back in January Janu-ary of 1980. Miss Falken-Smith Falken-Smith also was head writer of "General Hospital" for 2 12 years. "I've worked steadily in daytime television for the last 17 years," says the writer, "and I still love it. And the people at 'Guiding Light' have made this a very pleasant transition." Soap opera buffs are sure to remember "Search for Tomorrow" newcomer David Gale from his former roles as Father Mark Reddin on the defunct "Secret Storm" and as Beau Richardson on "The Edge of Night." David is currently cur-rently portraying Rusty Sentell, Travis's long-lost father. When he's not emoting on the small screen, David works on one of several writing projects. proj-ects.
