Scoutmaster Paul Adams . and Scouts Hrian Adams and James Wright register Adam Moore, Chad Everett and Donald Jarrett for the fourth annual Merit Badge Seminar to be held on Noy. 13 and 20 at the Bountiful Central Stake Center, WO S. 750 E. One, two or three classes may be taken from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon. THE COST will be $2.50 per class or $7 for all three. You may pre-register by mail or handcarry to Lyle Nelson, 660 S. 800 E., telephone 295-5830 or Doug Brown, 756.S. 800 E., telephone 295-4495. Make checks payable to "8th Ward Boy Scouts." The merit badge classes that will be offered are: citizenship in the community, nation and world, communication, personal per-sonal management, personal fitness, dentistry, genealogy, first aid, safety, public health, environmental science, emergency preparedness, handicap awareness, fishing, Indian lore, nature. EACH BOY should obtain merit badge pamphlets for classes he desires and read them before attending the seminar. Start requirements now that take time to complete. com-plete. Bring pencil and notebook note-book and please be on time. Each boy will receive professional pro-fessional instruction such that he will be able to prepare himself him-self properly and pass off the merit badge to a counselor of his choice in a minimum amount of time. To do this, he will need to take notes and retain re-tain information provided. |
