Show Chamber Seeks Continued Work Inter-city cooperation and years of work toward a common goal were all placed in jeopardy by your recent decision to give preliminary approval to another project with the proposed motel development, area, without first having met with all the parties involved in the project, and without finding solutions to the problems which would be created by said approval. SINCE THAT time we have had an opportunity to discuss with the Mayor of Woods Cross City, as well as with each of you, the effects of this approval. We know there are still very strong desires by both cities to preserve the previously made commitments com-mitments to each other, and to see the project pro-ject through to its completion. As the Board of Directors of the Bountiful Bounti-ful Area Chamber of Commerce, we are most desirous of seeing a joint meeting called cal-led of all involved parties, with the purpose of determining what the alternatives are, and what the outcome might be, given any specific set of parameters. It appeant that any further action, such as reci the preliminary approval, or granting al approval, without first obtaining: from all parties, would onlybeanotto in a backward direction. LET IT BE clearly understood lb - Bountiful Area Chamber of Comm does not favor any particular develope the motel project. May we as a Board of Directors urge as Mayor and City Council to carefully luate your present position, and Ion forward in resolving the problemsis: now stand, and to avoid creating ne. perhaps even larger problems, by i making decisions without the bene1 having input from all the parties to k agreements.
