Show Julie Jacohy To Leave May 1st For Warm Springs Plans were completed this week by the Duchesne County Chapter of Infantile Paralysis to send little Julie Jacoby to Warm Springs, Georgia, for consultation and possible pos-sible treatment for polio. Julie is the nine-year-old daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Jacoby of Duchesne, and will leave with her mother May 1, in time to enter en-ter the clinic May 9. The consultation findings will determine whether Julie will remain re-main for treatment at that time, or if the required treatment can wait until the tentative scheduled date of October 10. The Duchesne chapter, under the direction of the chairman, A. B. Christensen, has worked several months with the Foundation to make the trip possible, and is paying the complete expense of the trip to Warm Springs. The chapter is happy to be able to assist, Jnasmuch as the Jacobys have assumed "the complete expense ex-pense for Julie's treatment for the past six years. |
