Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Fill Requirements For Scout Work The following boys went to Salt Lake City on Saturday, where they enjoyed a swim at the Wasatch Was-atch pool. (This is one of their requirements in 1st class Scouting) Scout-ing) Kent Remington, Dal Seeley, Bob Goodrich, Jay Goodrich, Phil Remington, Garth Remington, Calvin Cal-vin Powell, Gene Barrett and Ralph Goodrich. Walter Remington Reming-ton and Grant Peel took the boys out. They all attended the Priesthood Priest-hood meeting on Saturday evening eve-ning at the Tabernacle before returning re-turning home. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich and two boys spent Sunday visiting vis-iting with relatives in Price. Word comes from Price of the birth of a baby girl to Mr. and Mrs. Aullen Larsen on the 25th of March. The little Miss will be known as Janette. ' Proud grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. William O. Larsen. GIVES DEMONSTRATION Miss Mary Lois Reichert came to Bluebell on Tuesday and demonstrated dem-onstrated three different casserole dishes in Relief Society. Following Follow-ing the demonstration the following follow-ing ladies enjoyed eating the casseroles, cas-seroles, with a vegetable salad and peaches and cake and sandwiches: sand-wiches: Agnes Larsen, Loretta Muray, Jennie Goodrich, Belle Bird, Lucille Whitehead, Lucille Winkler, Garda Seeley, Hazel Goodrich, Myrle Lisonbee, M. Ver-one Ver-one Winkler, Zella Goodrich, Cle-ona Cle-ona Remington, Mina Goodrich, Lois Goodrich, Mary Murray, Nellie Nel-lie Thomas and Laura Seeley. After Af-ter the dinner, the time was spent in quilting. Mrs. Miles, president of the Moon Lake stake Relief Society, So-ciety, visited the Relief Society that day. Mrs. Maurine Anderson and son, Gary, of Mt. Home, visited on Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. John X. Anderson. Mrs. Laura Seeley and Mrs. Betty Bet-ty Lou Goodrich left on Saturday for Salt Lake City. From there they leave on the train for a ten day trip to San Francisco. Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Hancock and baby, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here with Shirley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Han-Mrs. Han-Mrs. Zella Goodrich left on Friday Fri-day for Salt Lake City, where she will attend conference. She will spend a week visiting with relatives rela-tives and friends before returning home. Pres. Bernard Winkler went to Provo on Saturday to visit his daughter, Pauline, who is attending attend-ing school at the BYU. From there he will go on to Salt Lake to at-, tend general conference. HONORED AT RECEPTION Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Burson (Leona Bird), who were recently married, were honored at a wedding wed-ding reception on Thursday evening eve-ning at the Bluebell chapel. Mr. Burson is from Fort Duchesne and Leona is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bird. The young couple plan on making their home in California, where he will go to school. Mrs. Vivian Powell spent several sever-al days in Roosevelt last week with her daughter, June Powell and Lucy Timothy. |
