Show PARTY HONORS CHUCK STRINGHAM Celebrating his sixth birthday Tuesday afternoon was Chuck Stringham, who invited thirty young guests to join in the party festivity. Cake, ice cream and favors delighted de-lighted each of the small fry, who enjoyed the afternoon watching movies. An Easter theme was suggestive in decorations and the long chocolate choco-late dripper cake topped with yellow yel-low candles, surrounded with miniature min-iature nests filled with jelly bean Easter eggs. Mrs. Howard Harrison and children chil-dren left Wednesday to spend a few days in Salt Lake City. Walter Timothy is back to work after recovering from an operation opera-tion recently in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Rawlings are vacationing in southern California with John Hill and family. Mrs. Lenora Bacon was called to Cedar City March 24, due to the illness of her mother, Mrs Herbert Adams, who is 86 years old. She returned home last Friday as her mother had improved. Howard Harrison left Monday on a business trip to California. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dee Orser are leaving today for their home in San Francisco, Calif., after vis-iting vis-iting with Mr. Orser's mother Mary Orser, since last Saturday Andy Norling, of Vallejo, Calif., has been a business visitor in Roosevelt this week. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey C. Weiss, P.M.C., U.S.N., and son, Max, arrived ar-rived Friday on the Sultan Steamer Steam-er in San Francisco from Guam, where Mr. Weiss has been stationed sta-tioned for the past eighteen months. He will be located in San Diego for six weeks. Miss Joyce Jordan spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Jordan.
