Louise Gentry returned Wednesday Wed-nesday to Wasatch Academy after spending spring vacation with her parents. Ray Jones, of . Denver, spent Thursday in Ioka on business. Lloyd Jensen came in this weekend week-end from Provo to move his family fam-ily to Spanish Fork. Randall Russell Rus-sell moved their furniture. Wayne Ames was in from Salt Lake City this week to tend to busines matters. SEE CANCER FILM Tuesday night after Mutual, a film was shown on cancer. Mrs. Jesse Allen gave some remarks on the pictures. Mr. Allen was a visitor also. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival went to Salt Lake City Friday to spend a ten day vacation. They will visit with their children and families both in Provo and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson went to Vernal Friday night to attend the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Walker. Mrs. Walker, Walk-er, before her marriage, was Edna Sweat, a sister of Wayne Sweat. ATTEND CONFERENCE Thelma Robison, Edna Drollin-ger, Drollin-ger, Arvilla Lemon, Dorothy Stone and Zelma Lloyd attended the Rural Education Conference at Altamont High School, Friday. Ila Vay Lemon, Marcia Lemon and Alton D. Percival were with the Union High School band that helped in the all-district band concert con-cert Thursday night at Altamont. Those from here attending Pri- mary conference Saturday in Salt Lake City, were Pres. Eva Percival, Perci-val, Counselors lone Richens and Dona Lemon; Teachers, Velma Dart, Eliza Robison, Ila Vay Lemon, Lem-on, Winona Cloward. Hugh Percival Per-cival drove them out in his car and attended the Priesthood meeting meet-ing Saturday night. Bishop James Lemon, Garrett Stone, Reed Lemon and Mr. and Mrs. Ruhsel Robinson went out to Salt Lake City Saturday afternoon to attend the Priesthood meeting and conference. Reed Lemon will receive medical care while there. Robert Murdock, county agent, was in Ioka Saturday afternoon. |
