Show SOCIETY Percival-Scoft Reception Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scott, nee Lucile Percival, were the honored guests at an informal wedding reception at the Ioka Ward Hall. The young couple were married in the Salt Lake Temple on March 4. Mrs. Scott, lovely in her wedding dress exquisitely styled styl-ed in white satin and complimented comp-limented by a dainty corsage of red roses, stood to receive their many guests assisted by Mr. Scott and her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Charles Percival of Ioka. Miss Florence Percival, sister of the bride, was in charge of the gifts. Tempting light rcfresments were served to approximately 200 guests while Reynolds orchestra furnished soft background back-ground music for dancing Mr. Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott of Provo and has recently returned return-ed from the European Theater of Operations where he served with the Army Air Corps. The young couple returned to Provo on Tuesday where they will make their home. Bridgeite Mrs. Mont Killian entertained the Bridgette club at a delightful party at the Joe Moysh residence on Thursday evening, March 7. After a temptingly served dessert luncheon three tables were arranged ar-ranged for bridge. Guests present were Mrs. Orson Stevens, Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Mrs. Ned Bel-Ion, Bel-Ion, Mrs. Steve Bel Ion, Mrs. Mar Vel Neilson, Mrs. Bennie Sch-miett, Sch-miett, Mrs. Bill Nelson, Mrs. Clement Labrum, Mrs. Johnnie Cook, Miss Vera Johnson, Mrs. Jack Hoover, Mrs. Jack Mohl-man, Mohl-man, and Mrs. Eldon Campbell. Bowden-Allred Riles Miss Ardith Bowden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Bowden of Vernal, became the bride of Jack Allred, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Allred of Ogden, at a quiet home ceremony performed at the residence of the bride's brother,, Alvin Bowden, in Vernal on February 27. Bishop Jesse A. Hawcs solemnized the nuptials. Miss Bowden was attended by her sister, Miss Ethel Bowden, while Dee Allred, a brother of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The young couple are now at home to their many friends at their residence in Roosevelt. Reception Honors Lois Beits Mrs. Jess Hullinger, Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Kettle and Miss Eula Brighton entertained at an informal in-formal reception at the Ernest Belts residence last Thursday evening in honor of Miss Lois Belts, who will become the bride of Fred Cook on March 20, at riles to be performed in the Salt Lake Temple. A dainty pink and while color scheme was carried out in the dining room where .the table was laid with a beautiful lace cloth centered with a low crystal bowl of pink and white carnations carna-tions flanked on either side with graceful pink and while tapers in lovely crystal holders. Miss Belts stood in line to receive re-ceive her guests with Mrs. Marvin Mar-vin Kettle, Mrs. Ernest Belts and Mrs. LeRoy Goodrich. Mrs. Jess Hullinger was in charge of the dining room with Miss Editli Cook and Miss Louise Earl pouring pour-ing during the evening. The Misses Mis-ses Donna Rassmusscn, Vce Rasmusscn, Ras-musscn, Barbee White, Bonnie Hullinger, Martha Brady and Stella Jenkins assisted in serving guests who called lo pay their respects re-spects Miss Eula Brighton was in charge of the gift room assisted by Miss Rhea Bracken and Miss Lorraine Hullinger. Guests were entertained during dur-ing the evening by lovely music and appropriate readings. Friday Bridge Members and guests of the Friday Fri-day Bridge club met last week at the home of Mrs. J. V. McLea. Tempting light refreshments were served to Mrs. Lester Mul-lins, Mul-lins, Mrs. Paul Wilkins, Mrs. Louis Corbridge, Mrs. Eugene Harmston, Mrs. Ray Jordan, Mrs. Sam Weiss, Mrs. C. L. Ashlon, Mrs. Bennie Schmidt, Mrs. Howard How-ard Harrison, Mrs. R. Q War-nock, War-nock, Mrs. Robert Iluish, Mrs. J. R. Bourne, Mrs. Carroll Robbins, Mrs. Lynn Orscr, Mrs. Axel Birch. Four tables of bridge were at play during the evening. Contract Bridge Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron were host and hostess to members of the Contract Bridge club at dinner and cards at the American Legion Hall last Thursday evening. even-ing. Covers were laid for Mr. and Mrs. Lester Mullins, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Orscr, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Birch, Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilkins, Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
