Show Head On CoI3ision Injures Two Wong C. Wing, proprietor of Wing's store at Ft. Duchesne narrowly nar-rowly escaped death Tuesday afternoon when the car which he was driving collided head on with an automobile driven by L. T. Orr of Mt. Emmons. Mr. Wing who was travelling toward Ft. Duchesne from Vcr-' nal, met the car driven by Mr. Orr about six miles west of Vernal Ver-nal on Highway 40. Reports indicate in-dicate that Mr. Orr was driving on the wrong side of the road and as he approached the Wing car, Mr. Wing sharply turned to the left in order to avoid a collision. col-lision. But as Mr. Wing swerved to 'the left Mr. Orr turned his wheels toward the right side of the road and the two cars collided collid-ed head on. The car driven by Mr. Wing was completely demolished and Mr. Wing was pinned beneath the steering wheel unable to move. Both Mr. Orr and Mr. Wing were taken to the Uintah Basin hospital at Verna'l where Mr. Orr underwent treatment for a broken left wrist, a fractured right ankle, bruises and shock.
