Show 1 Mr and Mrs. Frank Smith and ; three' children of Helper arrived Tuesday to visit relatives. On Wednesday Mr and Mrs. Smith and family and Mrs. Leslie Good-, Good-, rich visited in Ioka and Roos-j Roos-j pVelt The Smith family returned i to their home on Friday. Rulon Goodrich went to Roosevelt Roos-evelt on Thursday tp consult a doctor. Rulon is suffering with blood poisoning in his arm. Mr and Mrs. Charles Bird and family of the Gilsonitc mines visited with relatives on Friday. LaVar Stanfield moved his - family to Price on Monday. Mrs. ctanfield and family have been livin" here in Bluebell while Mr. 1 stanfield seized in the Navy. I Mr and Mrs. Albert Hancock, and children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Goodrich on Sunday ' evening of last week. I Mr and Mrs. Orvil Hamilton and children of Tooele spent I Saturday and Sunday visiting in Bluebell. . , I Mr and Mrs. Ernie Winkler and children, Howard and Lloyd I Goodrich and Duane Hancock ; spent the week end at home. They are all employed at the Gilsonitc Gil-sonitc mines. Mrs. Garda Seeley and Mrs. Jennie Goodrich visited at Mt. Emmons on Saturday with Mrs. Mary AnnCase who is ill with i pneumonia. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Goodrich and two children of Provo visited visit-ed on Sunday with relatives. They also spent a few days in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lucas of Upalco was in Bluebell on Sunday. Sun-day. Elmer Smith and Lucille Lor-anger Lor-anger of Montwell were visiting friends in Bluebell Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Goodrich spent the week end at home visiting visit-ing with relatives. Evan is stationed sta-tioned at Kearns, Utah. Mrs. Mina Goodrich was an honored guest at a birthday party on Thursday. A hot pot lunch was served to the following guests: Mrs. Laura Seeley, Mrs. Sylvia Goodrich, Mrs. Zella Goodrich, Mrs. Veda Smith, Mrs. Lydia Bird, Mrs. Garda Seeley, Mrs. Lila Gale, Mrs. Verona Winkler and the guest of honor. A beautiful gift was presented pre-sented to Mrs. Goodrich. Mrs. Owen Goodrich had as visitors at her home during the week, Jesse Benson, Miss Ruth Benson and Mclvin J. Benson. Burt Smith of Nyssa, Oregon, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith during the week. A missionarry farewell party was held on Friday evening for Miss Betty Lou Seeley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion C. Seeley who leaves for the Western Slates Mission on March 18. The following program was given, reading, Thelma Cook; song, the Barrett sisters of Altonah; reading, read-ing, Miss Ellen Evans of Upalco; Violin solo, Jerry Wilcox of Mt. Emmons; reading, Mr. Wilcox, principal of Altonah; trio Miss Jeanne Goodrich, Miss Betty Lou Seeley, and Mrs. Garda Seeley. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. President E. L. Murphy and Leon Burton each gave short talks. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Seeley and son, DeVon, of Ballard were among am-ong those who came to the missionary mis-sionary farewell on Friday evening. even-ing. They also visited at -the C. C. Seeley home. |
