(Sam) Becker has accepted a mission call to Harris-burg, Harris-burg, Pennsylvania from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. HE WILL be leaving on Oct. 31 for the MTC. His farewell will be Oct. 27 10:50 a.m. in the Bountiful 19th Ward Stake Center, 1540 N. 400 E. ' 7 f Elder David Alan Scott has accepted a call to serve as a missionary mis-sionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Tahiti, Papeete Mission. He is the son of Dr. and Mrs. David L. Scott. DAVID IS a graduate of Bountiful Bounti-ful High School and Bountiful Seminary. He has also earned his private pilot's license. He will enter the MTC Nov. 7. His farewell will be held Sunday, Oct. 27 at 10:50 a.m. in the Bountiful Bounti-ful 14th Ward Chapel at 1500 S. 600 E. Relatives and friends will be visiting with him at his home after the farewell. Scott W. Petersen, son of Wally and Barbara Petersen, has been called to serve in the New Zealand Christchurch mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. HIS FAREWELL will be Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. in the Bountiful 31st Ward, 600 E. Center Street. Scott's family and friends are invited in-vited to an open house following the meeting at his home, 86 S. 750 E., Bountiful. Scott is a graduate of Bountiful High School and has been attending attend-ing the University of Utah. He will enter the MTC Oct. 31. Elder Roger S. Layton, son of Stan and Colone Layton, has accepted a call to serve in the Frankfurt, Germany mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. HIS FAREWELL will be held Sunday, Oct. 27 at 10:20 a.m. in the Bountiful 50th Ward, 540 N. 1200 E. Friends and neighbors are invited in-vited to an open house at his home, 1432 E. Seville Way, following the farewell from 2-4 p.m. Roger is a 1984 graduate of Bountiful High School. He has attended the University of Utah and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. ROGER WILL enter the Mission Training Center Nov. 7. ELDER HAWKS Paul Hawks has recently returned re-turned home from his 20 month service ser-vice in the Wisconsin Milwaukee mission. HIS HOMECOMING will be Oct. 27 at 1 :50 p.m. in the Bountiful 34th Ward. ELDER WILLIAMS Elder Todd R. Williams returned home on Oct. 10 after serving two years in the Missouri Independence Independ-ence Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. HE IS the son of Blaine and Peggy Peg-gy Williams of Bountiful. Todd will speak in Sacrament meeting Oct. 27 at 11:50 a.m. in the 47th Ward Chapel, 455 S. 1200 E., Bountiful.
