Show Appointed HILL AFB Two Air Force Colonels have been appointed to leadership positions at Hill Air Force Base, according to base spokesman Len Berry. COL. DAVID T. Howe was named chief of the Quality Assurance Assur-ance Division under the Directorate Directo-rate of Maintenance. The Canon City, Colo, native graduated from Northern Colorado University and was a distinguished graduate of the Air Force ROTC program. He is a master navigator, with over 4,000 flying hours, including more than 1200 hours in combat with the B-52D aircraft. He served as deputy chief of the Training Devices De-vices Management Division at Hill prior to his new assignment. HE IS married to the former Patricia Pat-ricia Nelson of Canon City, and they have two children. Col. Dorral J. Calvert was named Inspector General for the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill. Born in Bosworth, Mo., he attended the University of Missouri Mis-souri and graduated with a Bachelor's Bache-lor's degree in engineering. He also has a Master's degree from Southern South-ern Illinois University. COL. CALVERT is a command navigator, with 4900 hours flying experience.
