Show Hal's Jewelry It was in 1951 that Hal Butters', raised in southern Wyoming, mae a decision. "I either had to pursue the jewelry business or work as a railroader," he recalls. HE CHOSE the former, arid opened up Hal's Jewelry. Today, Hal's business in Bountiful remains re-mains one of the city's healthiest. After 19 years at his current location, loca-tion, 170 South Main Street, Hal has continued to serve not only the original generation of his customers, custom-ers, but a second generation. HAL'S OFFERS a complete line of diamonds and jewelry, and includes in-cludes a wide variety of gift items. Glasswear, watches and clocks are among the decorative items he offers. In explaining his longevity in the jewelry business, Hal says "I've always felt I've been honest with my customers. After all, the one thing I can offer them better than anyone else is service." THAT philosophy has helped keep Hal away from the railroads for the last four decades. |
