Show Cars Smashed In Collision Luck alone was responsible for saving four car occupants from death or serious injury Wednesday , when two cars crashed and rolled over, one three times, in an accident at Third East and Third North-streets, North-streets, American Fork. The occupants occu-pants all escaped with but minor 1 bruises while one car was damaged 'about $25 and the other $300.00. William Hone, 59, and his wife, 50, and a 16 -year -old daughter were j driving north in a Ford truck and Mrs. Marie Dean Adamson was going go-ing east in a sedan when the two machines collided on the intersection jnear the Wm. Chad wick corner. Reports Re-ports of city officers laid no blame on anyone, the accident being declared de-clared unavoidable. The Hone car came up out of the creek suddenly and the other machine ma-chine was so close that neither could avoid the crash. The Adamson car rolled over three times, completely smashing the body but not breaking any glass. The truck was also turned turn-ed over. Occupants of both cars were removed immediately from the wreckage, but luckily were found to have received only minor bruises. |
