Show GOLDEN WEDDING i CELEBRATED Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Laursen celebrated cele-brated their golden wedding anni-versary anni-versary Wednesday evening, having passed the 50th mile stone of wed-jded wed-jded life. Mr. and Mrs. Laursen have reared nine children, one of whom died in an oil disaster eight years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Laursen were born in Denmark, Den-mark, where they were married. Soon after their marriage they moved to the United States, moving to Utah forty wears ago, where they have lived since that time. A delicious supper was served to members of the family and immediate imme-diate friends, about thirty in all, after which events and history of the family were reveiwed. Mr. and Mrs. Laursen received many beautiful presents from the family including a beautiful gift from the Danish brotherhood lodge, of which he has been a member since it started to operate in Utah. n . |
