Show AGED RESIDENT ANSWERS LAST CALL Molly Smith, 82, died at her home Monday morning following an illness ill-ness of three weeks. She had been confined to her home the past several seve-ral months on account of failing health. She was born in Aalburg, Denmark, Den-mark, February 6, 1852. She emigrated emi-grated to Utah with her brother, Charles Jeppson, in the year 1873. On April 18, 1878, she married John E. Smith and they have lived here all of their married life. Their home was always open to their many friends who liked the congenial a-mosphere a-mosphere of this home. Mrs. Smith was a Relief Society teacher for forty years. Mrs. Smith was the mother of six children, three of whom, besides her husband, survive. They are: Edward S. Smith, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Annie An-nie Whelan, Aberdeen, Washington; Mrs. Jennie Waltenspree, Hoquian, Washington; also seven grandchildren grandchild-ren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday Thurs-day at 1 p. m. in the Timpanogos Stake Tabernacle under the direction direc-tion of the First ward bishopric. Interment was in Pieasant Grove City cemetery. |
