Show County Clerk's Office Shows Steady Growth County Clerk C. A. Grant's office has maintained a healthy growth for the past five years and he has more than doubled the yearly receipts re-ceipts during 1937 over the office's income of 1932. Fees turned into the county treasury has also been practically doubled for the same period. x During 1937 this office has been able to turn $9,147.94 into the county coun-ty coffers while the budget for the office was only $6,925.00. In other words, the clerk's office made a net profit for the county above all expenses ex-penses of $2,222.94. The following income by years shows the steady growth of this office which is maintained with about the same amount of help.
