Show Boy Scout Week Set for Early February At a meeting . held Tuesday night, the stake executive committee on scouting completed1 arrangements for Boy Scout Anniversary Week to be held February 6-13 in conjunction conjunc-tion wth nation wide scout activities. activi-ties. Present at the meeting were Merrill Christopherson of Provo,' and Calvin Walker, scoutmaster in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, who gave talks on the value of observing scout week. Following is the program outlined out-lined for the local troops, during Boy Scout Week: Scout Sunday February 6, 1938. Scout uniforms should, be worn during the week. Every troop features. fea-tures. Scouts in Sunday programs. Badges will be awarded; at. the exercises. ex-ercises. "Good Turn" Day-Monday, Day-Monday, February 7, 1938. Every troop and patrol should make arrangements, and conduct a Special Good Turn. Suggestions: feed birds, chop wood, paint fences, clean yards, fix bridges and remove trash. Recommittal Day Tuesday, February 8, 1938. All Scouts of the district gather as troop or as large district gathering. gather-ing. Have, a radio set up and with the scouts, scoutmasters and troop committeemen standing at attention, recommit themselves to the Scout Oath and Law. Scouts-Parents Banquet Day Wednesday, February 9, 1938, Scout troops and their parents will meet and enjoy a scout banquet. Home Day Thursday, February 10, 1938.
