Show Leadership Program Will Feature Courses Five hundred iwsons will give their talents and knowledge to make the Seventeenth Annual Leadership week at Brlgham Young university inspiring and informational. Thirty-five short courses, each presenting from one to ten experts as lecturers and demonstrators, will be offered during the week, which will begin January 24. 2. Pour evening entertainments will bring several hundred vounc musicians and actoi-s before leadership leader-ship crowds. 3. General authorities of the L. D. S. church and other leaders will present assembly addresses daily. There will be music before and after rpoech.es. 4. Thirteen special exhibits of paintings, etchings, artistic photographs, photo-graphs, landscape architecture plans, clothing remodelling and costume designs, and minerals are being prepared. pre-pared. 2. Many organizations are cooperating co-operating with the university. Of the L. D. S. church, the Genealogi-i Genealogi-i cal society, Relief society, Aaronic I Priesthood, Primary, Sunday school, and Mutual Improvement associations associa-tions are participating. The National Parent-Teachers' Congress, Boy Scouts of America, State Conference of Social Work, Utah State Poultry Council, and ethers are holding meetings in connection and assisting in other ways. All efforts are being made to give the expected throngs a rich feast of culture, inspiration, and guidance, centering around the theme, "The Security of Zion." More persons are expected than came last year, when 90 L. D. S. stakes in 14 states, Canada Can-ada and Mexico were represented among the thousands of visitors. |
