Show Mini health fair, art show, bazaar and open house slated at Care Center A mini Health Fair, an Art Show, Bazaar and Open House will be part of the special activities to take place at Alpine Care Center on Tuesday, October 25. The schedule of events is as follows: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Art show featuring paintings by Dr. Floyd Brienholt of BYU, Tammy Risenmay, Ruth Pitts, LaPreal i Morford, Carole Jewkes, Karen Stuek and Geniel Sperry. 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Bazaar featuring beautiful handiwork done by residents of the Care Center as well as members of the staff. 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Mini Health Fair and Open House. The facility podiatrist and dentist will be on hand doing free examinations. There will be free blood pressure checks, height and weight evaluations. Blood work will be available (sodium, potassium potassi-um glucose and cholesterol levels). This will be handled by the American Fork Hospital at their cost of $10 per person. Those who plan to have blood, drawn must go without food or " drink 4 to 16 hours preceding the drawing.
