Show Genealogy Workshop The Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University will be open Sunday (May 2) for the monthly First Sunday Genealogical Workshop. The workshop will be held on the fourth floor of the library from 1:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature eight classes. "Settling Research Objectives," "German Research" and "English "Eng-lish Research After 1837" will be taught separately at 3 p.m. "Danish Research," "Beyond Four Generations," Genera-tions," a special class designed for the Latter-day Latter-day Saint who has already completed the church sponsored Four-Generation Four-Generation Research Program and "How to Use LDS Records" will be taught at 4:30 p.m. "Swedish Research" and "Using the United " States Census Records" Re-cords" will be taught at 6 p.m. "All classes will be taught by qualified consultants," said Janet Balmforth, director direc-tor of the workshop. "In addition, the new film cabinets installed last month and the thousands of rolls of film stored in them makes genealogical research re-search at the library more effective and easier than before." The workshop is free and open to the public. Details are available at the genealogy desk of the Lee Library on the fourth floor. |
