Show Senior to Grade Program Senior citizens in Utah County will be asked to give their assessment of the 1982 Home Energy Assistance program this month. The Home Energy Assistance Target (HEAT) program was established by U.S. Congress to assist eligible households in meeting the rising costs of home energy by paying a portion of their energy bills each winter. OnThurs., Apr. 22atl p.m., representatives from the Utah State Coalition of Senior Citizens will sponsor a meeting at the Payson Senior Citizens Center, 439 Utah Avenue, Payson, Utah. USCSC is asking seniors to answer an-swer questions about the energy program relating to the method of delivery and its effectiveness. ef-fectiveness. Seniors who have not previously participated in the program are encouraged en-couraged to attend, as well as those who have already received this assistance. Lunch will be served at the Center at 12 p.m. Senior citizens are advised to make reservations for the luncheon at least, one day in advance by calling the Senior Center, 465-9724. |
