Therese Schwartz, a second se-cond generation abstract expressionist residing in New York City, will be at the Salt Lake Art Center, 20 South West Temple, to present "Discoveries in Paper: Pa-per: A Workshop" January 5th, 6th and 8th. Ms. Schwartz will present the workshop and a Friday lecture in conjunction with her exhibition in the Corridor Gallery of the Art Center on display from January 7-March 7-March 6, 1983. The workshop will offer students an opportunity to create objects in two and three dimensional form by combining paper in new ways, arriving at unusual-textures unusual-textures and unexpected concepts of space. Materials will include, along with stand art papers, corrugated board, wrapping papers, newspapers and commercial colored papers. These will be combined with acrylic paint, crayon, plaster and transformed trans-formed into sculpture constructions, con-structions, collage, wall-hangings wall-hangings and unnamed objects. ob-jects.
