Show ijD(t))0o(ff LBBOctoii lioprr Microwave Vanishes A microwave oven valued at $600 disappeared from a Stoneb-idge condominium unit in Deer Valley Dec. 21. Camera Taken Joe Barlow of Provo, Utah reported the theft of a $200 camera from his unlocked vehicle Dec. 22. The car was parked in the underground lot at Sweetwater when the theft occurred. Ski Equipment, Too While investigating the Joe Barlow theft, officers noticed the windshield and passenger window had been broken out of another vehicle in the lot. The owner of the car, Rulon Barlowvof Provo, evidentfy a dative" of Joe Barlow, indicated $215 worth of ski equipment was missing. Damage to the car was estimated at $175. More Sweetwater Theft Also at Sweetwater, Dec 22, Sandra Norton of Madison, Wise, noted the theft of almost $300 worth of ski equipment from her vehicle. Entry to the Norton car was apparently ained through the use of a wire hanger found hanging from window by investigating officers. More Ski Thefts There were numerous ski thefts reported this week mainly in the area of the Park City Ski Area. Skis disappeared from unlocked racks atop cars and at the resort plaza and from snowbanks and from sides of buildings where they were left. Pills, Grass Captured Police, on routine patrol noticed a car parked in a vacant parking lot last week. Upon inspection, two Park City men were found inside the vehicle and the strong odor of marijuana was detected. After searching the car, some "speed" pills were found as was a film canister containing several marijuana cigarette butts. Both men were charged with possessing a controlled substance. Snow Blower Blows A toro snowblower valued at $200 was reported missing Dec. 24 from the Stein Eriksen Lodge at Deer Valley. A former employee is a possible suspect. Candy Glass Crashed The plexi-glass front of a candy machine located at the municipal bus garage was found smashed Dec. 24. Park City Transit Director Kay Draper reported the incident to authorities who could find neither candy nor money missing. The only clue in the case to date is a trace of motor oil found on the plexi-glass fragments. Lumber, Saw Missing A table saw, lumber and windows valued at $1,000 turned up missing this week from the garage of a house under construction in Amern Flag.
