Show Chamber will present marketing plan .. Park City Area ujiphdattie (hiabpr f CsiamrrrWC'eavriit ioa H!KHKInBiir" The Park City Area Chamber Bureau will present its 1985 summer advertising and promotion program to all members on Thursday, April 25. The meeting will be held at the Park Meadows Racquet Club Conference Con-ference Center at 5:30 p.m. Marty Melcher, marketing director dir-ector for the ChamberBureau, said the program will cover: historical overview of ChamberBureau summer sum-mer promotions, facts about the Chamber Bureau in-state regional , market, summer plans for the Wasatch Front, summer plans for the regional market, and most ' important, how each Chamber Bureau member can participate as a cooperative advertising partner. "We feel we have developed an excellent summer program with co-op advertising options that any Park City business, no matter how large or small, will be able to participate in and benefit for distribution requests. Advertising Advertis-ing in the Visitors Guide is being handled through Lodestar and the deadline for space reservation is Ann 19 In addition, the Summit County Travel Council is in the process of budgeting this year's funds. County commissioners have set aside a portion of the transient room tax collections to assist in funding events which have the potential of attracting overnight visitors. Any special events coordinators interested in receiving funding consideration should call Jay Bundy at the Chamber Bureau, 649-6100. The Chamber Bureau is accepting applications for two new positions. The first, an economic development director, will be responsible for developing, coordinating and executing execut-ing an economic development program for the ChamberBureau. Experience is required in business, finance and economics, compilation and organization of reports, collection, collec-tion, interpretation and presentation of statistical data, management, organization and compilation of reports, and public speaking and presentation. The second position is a part-time secretary receptionist. This person must be able to handle all clerical needs of the Chamber Bureau and will be responsible for ordering, stocking supplies and materials, taking minutes at board meetings and meeting deadlines. Those interested in either position should submit a resume or fill out an application at the ChamberBureau offices, 528 Main Street, P.O. Box 1630, or call 649-6100.
