Show Not-so-average skisail race is set for Saturday If you're a better than average ski racer and a better than average sailor, this may be your chance to make your better than average talents into a winning combination. It's the Utah Sailing Association's annual skisail race, and the top prize in the two-day event goes to the individual or team with the best overall performance. The event starts at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Solitude. Competitors are expected to show up about 12:30 p.m. to register, then take two timed runs on a giant slalom course. Then, on Sunday the focus will shift to the harbor at the north end of Willard Bay for a triangle racing event. A spokesman for the association said the race is open to any boat "as long as we can get a Portsmouth rating on it." There will not be a class for sailboards this year. The skipper's meeting and registration are scheduled to begin at 11a.m. The registration fee for the two-day event is $20 for a two-person boat, $15 for a one-person boat ( excluding cost of lift tickets ) .
