Show Obituaries 'r, Ward Wesley Blazzard Ward Wesley Blazzard, a resident of Kamas, died Nov. 29 in the Heber City Hospital. He was 74. He was born Sept. 5, 1911, in Thatcher, Ariz., to John Wesley and Laura Eleanor Pack Blazzard. He married Louella June Cummings Dec. 17, 1975. He was a member of the LDS Church and an active high priest. He was the owner and manager of Kamas Valley Lumber and Kamas Woodland Telephone Company. He was mayor of Kamas for eight years. He is survived by his wife (Kamas); daughter, Laura Jane Maxwell (Peoa); stepsons, Michael Swenson (California), Jordon Swenson (Summit Park) and Phillip Stevenson (Salt Lake City); three grandchildren; brother, James H. Blazzard (Kamas); sister, Ruth Weaver (Layton); and nephews and nieces. . , He was buried in Francis Cemetery. James M,Haranvj James Michael Haran died Nov. 30. He was 72)Sr .MOg-eMMIfw.noilBf He was born Aug. 17, 1913, in Park City to Daniel H. and Kathryn Tighe Haran. He married Ruth Billings in Ely, Nev. She died Sept. 18, 1980. He was a veteran of World War II, in which he served as a warrant officer in London. He was a retired employee of the Auditing Department, Utah State Tax Commission. He was a member of the Catholic Church, St. Vincent DePaul Parish. He is survived by foster son, Thomas A. Haran (Murray) ; sisters, Anna T. Haran (Salt Lake City) and Mrs. Irving F. (Kathryn) Handley (Midvale) ; and brother, Daniel L. Haran (Salt Lake City). He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ethel Haran. A funeral mass will be held Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 1375 Spring La. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary from 9 to 9:45 a.m. He will be buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery. |
