Show Young Park City ski racers place high in NASTAR rankings Two Park City youths placed first and third in their age groups in the Coca-Cola Junior NASTAR (National (Na-tional Standard Race) state rankings rank-ings for the 1984-85 season. , The rankings were announced in a press release this week. . Brian Keesler placed first in Utah in the 10- to 12-year-old category and Will Ott placed third in the 5- to 6-year-old grouping. Keesler recorded a season-best 23 handicap while racing at Snowbird and Ott recorded a 109 handicap, also at Snowbird. Keesler is a 12-year-old Treasure Mountain Middle School student in the seventh grade, who recently moved to Park City. Ott is a first-grader first-grader at Parley's Park Elementary School and has been a resident here for three and one-half years. During the 1984-85 season, more than 100,000 young skiers participated par-ticipated in the Coca-Cola Junior NASTAR program held at 135 ski areas nationwide. Each racer's best handicap of the season was recorded ' and all participants were ranked by , handicap, age and gender in each of the 34 states having entrants.
