Show Police BUeport ' Thief goes incognito with 40 pairs of shades Park City's sunny days apparently were too much for a thief who made off with 40 pairs of sunglasses from a resident's auto this week. James Fisher called the Park City Police Department Monday to report the theft of the sunglasses. According to his report, he had taken the glasses to a store on Main Street, apparently to sell them. The store was closed, however, so Fisher left the glasses in his car. He believes they were taken from the auto while it was parked at the Fireside condominium project. The missing shades are valued at $900. On Dec. 1, Pam Foyster called police to report the theft of a briefcase. brief-case. A Houston, Texas man called police on Dec. 1 to report the theft of a ski rack. According to James Lightsey, a Hertz rental ski rack was taken while his rental car was. parked across from the Sweetwater Condominiums. The rack is valued at$50. . Also on Dec. 1, Jerry Wood called to report vandalism at the Claim-, jumper parking lot on Main Street. According to the report, three vehicles had the driver's side windows win-dows smashed during the past week. The autos were parked in the rear lot at the Claimjumper. Damage is estimated at $205. Scott Beaching called police on Nov. 30 to report the theft of numerous towels from the Homestake Condominiums. Beaching said he put the towels in a dryer at the condominiums and when he returned,, they were gone. -m mmm miswii not listed. Park City police this week reported two DUI arrests, including one stemming from a three-car collision colli-sion on Main Street. Police also received five reports of stolen skis from area ski resorts. |
