Show University classes offered in Park City this winter The Park City University of Utah Program for Higher Education1 has released its schedule of winter classes for 1985-86. ' ; The classes are for Summit County Coun-ty residents interested in pursuing personal and professional goals and offers a number of courses for credit or non-credit. Stacey Christensen, spokesperson U for the off-campus program develop- ment office, said this quarter about 22 classes are scheduled in Park.- m fjty . There were 18 last quarter. in "We're offering a variety of liberal education classes so people interested in pursuing a degree can get rid of some of the requirements of their classes in Park City," Christensen said. "The program has been here for three years and at this point I would say it is here to stay." ; K She said that the imaginative 1 writing class may be one of the more interesting offered and expected , that , the response would be good because of the interest shown at the Writers at Work workshop at the Yarrow last summer. Nancy Roberts, who taught the "Writing and the Female Experience" Ex-perience" class at the workshop, will instruct the imaginative writing class. . "We're also offering a ' voluhfeerism class. It is set up so those interested in volunteering in community projects can get college credit," Christensen added. |
