She programs information infor-mation for Cable Channel 8, a new service ser-vice offered by Park City's community , radio station. Now you can dial up local news, services offered by KPCW underwriters and other informa-. informa-. tion and it will appear on your TV screen. Here's how you do it: Choose from any one of 16 categories, including skiing, ski-ing, sports and how to deal with Utah's Jeff Jansen liquor laws. Then pick up your phone (it must be a touch-tone) and dial 645-7000 and the three-digit code for your selected news category. The service can back up 10 requests -at once: Figures on the bottom of the screen will tell you how far backlrilihe you are. ' The service already is popular. KPCW's general manager Blair Feulner said the station received more than 1,000 requests the first week it offered of-fered Cable Channel 8. |
