Show IAE to present s!;v. boo1" ik'ifiil -mlT I Tinkerbeir premiere The Intermountain Actors Ensemble En-semble (IAE) will open its 1985 season on Jan. 10 at the Egyptian Theatre with the Utah and world premiere of Teri Roney's play "Clap Your Hands If You Believe In Tinkerbell." This adult drama explores the problem of spouse abuse in dramatic form. The production, directed by Ron Burnett, will star Keli Udell as Mary, who finds herself in the nightmare world of the abused wife, and Marsha Hepps as Wendell, a social worker who tries to help her find her way out. They will be assisted by Tony Leger as Peter, the abusing husband; Anne Burnett as the mother; and Heidi Burnett as Judy, a two-time loser in marriage N and abuse. Newcomers to the Park City stage will be Matt Wood, Marjorie Snyder and Gary Raymond Dunn as the reporter, Bonnie and the father. This production will be IAE's entry in the Utah Theatre Festival in January. The production will play at the Egyptian Theatre on Jan. 10, 11 and 12. The closing night performance perfor-mance will be sponsored by Penn-West Securities. Tickets will go on sale a week before Christmas at all Datatix outlets and the IAE office at 649-6208. Price is $4.50, students and senior citizens, $3.50. |
