Utah to Moroni and Harriet Sweet ring Clawson, she married Professor Daisel Smith in June 1917. He died on Sept. 4. HI"1!. She is survived by lour children. Dr. Daisel C. Smith of Saratoga. Utah: eight great and four great-. great-. great grandchildren: and a sister, Kdna Hayes of Henderson. Nevada. Services were held through Larkin Mortuary on Jan. 4. !9ti.l Burial was in Salt Lake City Cemetery. Her husband was the principal of the Park) City High School, ai.d al.s" taugi I science, math and chemistry from li)27-19:i2. He taught at North Summit High from 19.i2 ;J4. He was very active as a member of the Park City 1. 1) S. Ward, holding many positions, and was Bishops Councelor. He will bo .remembered by many Parkites. Grace Lapreal Allsop Grace Lapreal Allsopdied Jan. 20 in Salt Lake. She was 81. She was born in Park City on June 3, 1903 to William James and Maria Magdalena Anderson Blake. She married Revear! A. Allsop on Nov. 23, 1927 at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. She was a well-known music teacher in Salt Lake and Pocatello. She judged many music competitions and was active in the LDS Church musical programs. She is survived by a son, Dale A. Allsop, of Salt Lake; a brother, Raymond Blakeof West ValleyCity; and four grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the South Cottonwood Seventh Ward. Burial will be in Elysian Burial Gardens. |
