Shoppers may well be asking themselves this question when they see the glass elevator, the tree-lined arcades and copper ceilings inside the new Main Street Marketplace. First mall store set to open Friday Residents wilt have'thelf Tirst opportunity to explore the inside of Silver Mill's Main Street Marketplace this weekend. A branch of Mrs. Fields' Cookies is scheduled to open on the main floor of the mall on Friday, said Geoi-ge Levitt, coordinator of new store construction for Fields. Sally White, assisstant to Debbie Fields, said the public will be invited to taste free cookie samples on opening day. The Main Street location will be the eighth Mrs. Fields' Cookies outlet in Utah. Levitt said the stores specialize in "warm, fresh cookies and brownies." "No cookie is ever two hours old," he said. While running down the list of ingredient variations including chocolate chips, macadamia nuts and walnuts, Levitt counted eight varieties of cookies that will be available, not including chocolate-chocolate chip brownies. A new product called Frostbite also will be introduced at the Park City store, said Levitt. Frostbite is a Mrs. Fields' creation made from a crumbled cookie base covered with frozen chocolate mousse, cut into bars and dipped in chocolate, Levitt said. The opening of Fields' store also will afford residents a chance to glimpse the inside of the controversial building. As of Wednesday the interior was still a hub of activity but the glass-encased glass-encased elevator and copper ceilings were already in place. |
