Show BYU graduates announced Two Park City-area students were among those to receive diplomas from Brigham Young University BYU in commencement exercises in late December. According to a recent press release from BYU. the two were: Patricia T. Whitfield, who received a PhD in higher education administration, administra-tion, and Jeaneen Wallin, who was awarded a bachelor of science (BS) degree. Among the 1,289 degrees con- ferred were 62 doctorates, 294 masters, 886 bachelors and 47 ass'Kiates. All recipients have been invited to the April commencement services. BYU is owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With an enrollment of more than 26,000 students, it is the largest private, church-related industry in the United States. |
