Show Spanky, New Wave gang to invade Rusty Nail Spanky and the old gang have grownup, and in their place we have Spanky and the Wankers. New Wavers will want to check out this new group at the Rusty Nail this weekend. For those with more subdued tastes we've listed a few old and classical choices too. Down Under The Down Under club at the Claimjumper Hotel on Main Street is one of the locals' favorites. Several familiar faces around town have been known to sing along with folk musician Kat James when she plays there every Wednesday through Saturday evening. Grub Steak The vocal duo Ruby Two Shoes will provide contemporary dinner music at the Grub Steak Thursday through Sunday evening. Rusty Nail Spanky and the Wankers specialize special-ize in New Wave and rock-and-roll music. They will perform at the Rusty Nail at the Park City Ski Area Friday and Saturday from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Ryan's Thursday night is local's jam night at Ryan's on Main Street. Bring along a musical instrument and join in or just hang out and tap your toes. The music starts at 9 p.m. Sneakers Classical guitarist Kelly Wright plays in the Sneakers dining room at the Park Meadows Racquet Club Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 :30 p.m. Stein Eriksen Lodge The tea time menu at Stein Eriksen Lodge includes piano music by Kate McCutchan Wednesday through Sunday afternoons from 4 to 8 p.m. Pianist Harry Black takes over the keyboard from 8 to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Cowboy Bar Destiny will take over the bandstand at the Cowboy Bar Thursday through Saturday. The band specializes in rock-and-roll music and is sure to keep the dance floor hopping. The entertainers for Sunday through Tuesday had not been confirmed at press time but the top-40 band, The Ritz, is scheduled to appear on Wednesday. The music starts each night at 9:30 p.m. |
