Show Shape Escape offers healthier life style calorie-conscious menu which will be served at the Grub Steak Restaurant. "We are trying something that is different from most weight loss programs in that the people enrolled will not be segregated from the other customers in the restaurant. They will be able to sit wherever they want and order from the menu," said Carofanello. Each day different "specials" aimed at the calorie-conscious calorie-conscious consumer will be available both to members of the program and to any other customer. The Grub Steak is also adding a new low calorie salad dressing to the salad bar in honor of the Shape Escape, she said. The Shape Escape will continue through Aug. 31. Out-of-town visitors can take advantage of the lodging at the Prospector Hotel. The daily program will begin at 7 a.m. and continue each day through 8 p.m. The Prospector Athletic Club will be offering a new weight loss program beginning July 8. According Accord-ing to PAC Director Jeannine Carofanello, the Park City Shape Escape will be more than a summer spa. "We are hoping to offer something some-thing more encompassing than a temporary weight loss. We'd like people to go home with a healthier life style, something that will help them in their day-to-day lives," said Carofanello. Carofanello, who has a degree in Physical Education from the University Univer-sity of Utah and has taught weight control and behavior modification classes, is the director of the new program. She has also enlisted the aid of an advisory panel made up of medical and fitness experts. Dr. Bruce Dooley, director of the Park City Emergency Center, will be available for consultation and blood cholesterol testing. Tim Butler, a certified exercise specialist at IDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, will be on hand to provide individual rehabilitation rehabilita-tion counseling. Physical therapist Lane Bowen and hypnotherapist Dr. Nancy Foster are also adding their input. The specific training programs have been . designed by Stuart Carter wno is working on his Ph. D. in exercise science and Marcia Gallenson who holds a masters degree in exercise physiology and is the director of Northwest Pipeline's corporate fitness fit-ness program.
