Show 'No' Vote Urged in Bond Election Dear Editor: Vote NO! Don't be apathetic apathe-tic get out and vote, and unless you're rich the only way to vote is NO. There is no free lunch. I've given all my tenants notice that' on the 17th of June, if it all passes, rents will go up $25 per month. A house will be even more. My old town taxes went up from 100 to 1000 percent. My . old town taxes went up from 100 to 100Q percent this year and to double that would be up 4p, 2000 percent in two years. The impact fees being charged should be for parks and libraries. Where are these funds? Private enterprise should build ice rinks and field houses. They will. This type of thing should be a total county project not just city. So let's have a county bond election. And let everybody who will use it share the costs. Once again get out and vote. Dale Nelson |
