Show Snowfall Makes Skiing Fantastic Weekend storms added approximately ap-proximately fifteen inches of new snow to Park City's Jupitor Bowl ski area bringing the total depth 1 14 inches in the powder retreat. The Summit House reports 81 inches, a substantial amount given the lateness of the season. The new snow enables the resort to once again forecast "excellent skiing on packed and new powder." Resort officials indicate that the new snow makes it very possible that the Mountain will remain open until the forcasted May 7 closing date. More snow is expected to fall during this week making for superb Spring skiing conditions should the weather, ever, clear up. , |
