Show community notices county clean-up April 24th will be the beginning day for a county-wide clean-up. County Commissioners announced that all county and city garbage crews will collect dry refuse from designated roadside garbage collection areas. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY WET GARBAGE. Pick-up will begin April 24th, but may take two or three days to complete. free trip to wendover There will be a free bus to Wendover on April 22 at 9 a.m. for all senior citizens and anyone over 21. The bus will leave from the post office on Main Street and return the same night at 6 p.m. Reservations must be made by April 15. There is no charge. Contact Bernice Marcellin at 649-9505. trash collection change Effective April 20, trash pickup in the following areas will be changed. Park Meadows and Holiday Ranch from Wednesdays to Thursdays. Prospector Square and Prospector Village from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Remember your trash must be out by 8 a.m. meet your commissioners A "meet your commissioners night" will be held Tuesday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the multi-purpose room of Park City High School. The Summit County Commissioners will discuss the fate of the county hospital, the creation of a Snyderville Basin water district and any other topics raised. master plan hearing The Summit County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Tuesday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse in Coalville to discuss amendments to the county masterplan, including additions to Highland Estates and Pine Meadows, a development east of Echo reservoir and an auto body shop in the Gorgoza area. ladies luncheon coming Park City's 24th annual ladies luncheon will be held Saturday, May 6 at the Resort. The instructor is Bob Burns. shop class There will be a shop or woodwork class Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the high school taught by Captain Smith (Moose). gourmets paradise Carolyn Goodworth will teach a gourmet cooking class which will meet Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the high school. auto maintenance A class in automobile maintenance will be held Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. at Park City High School.
