Show vmm iaco)oiTTi b-b gun bandits Investigation into a theft of two B-B guns last week led to the apprehension of a local juvenile, 15, in connection with two thefts. According to reports, police were called to the Thaynes Canyon home of Leonard Jarosz last Thursday evening and informed of the missing B-B guns after two of his sons had been shot at by several neighborhood youths while riding their bicycles. The two fled the scene, leaving one bike behind, which was later recovered in a nearby pond. Upon returning to the scene and questioning one of the youths, officers discovered the B-B guns, as well as a color television recently stolen from another Thaynes Canon home. The youth was referred to juvenile court and investigation is continuine. holiday vandalism Two cases of vandalism were reported over the Memorial Day weekend. The rear window of an International pick-up belonging to Ron Street was shattered by a bullet hole sometime Sunday or Monday while parked on Pacific Avenue. A window in the side door of the Memorial Building was apparently kicked out early Monday morning. Police reported no sign of entry into the building. joy ride ends abruptly Three Salt Lake youths were arrested shortly after midnight early Monday morning after they were Qaught by a patrolling officer attempting to take golf carts at the resort clubhouse out for a joyride. John Spinner, Mathew Matsukawa and Mike Lee, ages 18 and 19, were charged with disorderly conduct and released pending an appearance in court. Police report several other youths were witnessed at the scene, but escaped arrest. |
