Show EDITORIAL Thanks Bob Members of the Park City Ski Club were honored during an award and fund-raising banquet held at Adolph's restaurant Thursday night. The ceremonies last week marked the most successful season ever for Park City's young ski team. They won more races than any other ski team in the intermountain division. In order for a ski team to be successful, especially at the impressive level of Park City's, it takes not only strong and well conditioned athletes but also a director and coach who serves as an inspirational and enthusiastic leader. Bob Marsh has done just that: he has demonstrated his ability, probably beyond everyone's expectations, to work with young people in such a way as to make the community feel very proud. Bob Marsh is a hard worker, but more importantly, he is consistent. Bob Marsh received a standing ovation from the over-125 over-125 supporters of the ski club who were in attendance at last week's banquet. And the Park Record would like to offer another ovation to one of the best leaders Park City has ever had. "Next year we plan to broaden our strength and increase our development, and are looking forward to an excellent season ahead," Marsh told the large crowd at the banquet. One can feel confident that with Bob Marsh at the helm, Park City will indeed have "an excellent season ahead," and hopefully many more to come. |
