Show community notices tennis news ATTENTION LADY GOLFERS: All women interested in playing golf come join The Park City Ladies Golf League. A meeting to get acquainted will be field May 9th at 10:30 a.m. at Adolphs at the golf course. Ralph Emery our pro, will tell us how to play the game. Everyone invited. The first organizational meeting of the Park City Ladies Golf Association will be held Tuesday, May 9 in the Clubhouse at 10-30 a.m. All interested ladies are urged to attend. i lhetrW.be a free 8If Clinic for a" members of the Park City Ladies Golf Association May 16. Ladies Day for members of the Ladies Golf Association will be every Tuesday from 7 to 10 a.m. The price for members will be $1.50 for nine holes and $3.00 for eighteen. There will be free golf lessons offered to Park City children ages 8 to 16 on the first three Fridays in June at the Golf Course at 9 a.m. ladies luncheon Park City's 24th annual ladies luncheon will be held Saturday, May 6 at the Resort. Our honored guest, Blanch Fletcher, will ' honor us with a little ( presentation of her former days when she played the piano for old time silent movies. Passes must be presented at the information desk were day passes will be issued. golf course meeting The Planning Commission of Park City has been asked to meet concerning the future of Park City's Golf Course. A public input hearing is scheduled for review of this proposal by' the Planning Commission and the interested public on the 10th of May, 1978;,at 8:00 p.m. at the Treasure Mountain Inn. clean up park city Park City clean-up days will be held May 8-12. Dry refuse should be placed on the curb. No wet garbage. pchs alumni banquet The Annual Park City High School Alumni Banquet will be held June 3 at the Resort Center. Box 1042, Park City, Utah 84060. winters school rummage sale On Saturday, May 20th, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. the first annual "Everything Goes" rummage sale "will be held in the Winters School gym. The sale is sponsored by the P.T.S.A., Marsac Council and Winters Council with all proceeds going to the library fund. There will also be a bake sale and refreshments. Everyone is encouraged to bring all items in good condition that they would like to contribut clothing, housewares, books, sports equipment, baby furniture, plants, etc. to the Winters School any time during school hours starting NOW! Do your spring cleaning and help a worthy cause at the same time! old quilters sought Competitors are being sought in a contest to establish the oldest continuous quilting group in Utah. The Utah State Historical Society staff wants to find out so they can interview the members and photograph a quilting session and some of the quilts made. Let us know who you are and how long you have been quilting.
