Show DAIRY H WILL RECEIVE PRIZES SALT LAKE. May 22. With a view-to view-to Increasing interest In the dairy industry and bringing aoouf a better standard for butter, the Utah State Fair association has arranged a list of prizes for dairy products. The following fol-lowing list was announced by Secretary Secre-tary Horace Ensign Saturday: For best quality of not less than 100 prints of creamery butter First prize, gold medal and $30; second prize, silver sil-ver medal and $20; third prize, $0. For best quality of dairy butter of not less than ten pounds First prize, $11; second, $1"; third. $5 For grentest number of pounds of butter made from ono cow In seven consecutive days, the butter to be exhibited ex-hibited First prize. $10; second, $3. The rules governing dairy products are: Dairy butter is understood to be butter but-ter from a single herd of cows, made on the farm or at. the home of the owner. Creamery butter is undei stood to be butler made in tegular creamery or factory from milk or cream of not less than ten herds of cows, from a churning churn-ing of not lesi than 100 pounds. The Judging to be from a commercial commer-cial standpoint, by recognized ex-j ex-j prtg and according to the following score: I Flavor -15 Grain or body 25 I Color 15 Salt 10' Style of package 5 Total or perfection Inc. No exhibit of butter scoring less than ninety (90) shall be entitled to any consideration, other than an official of-ficial copy of the score card For best quality of not less than five hoops of cheese First prize, gold meal and $15; second. $10; third, ?5. All cheese exhibits shall be Judged from a commercial standpoint by recognized experts and according to the following score: i Flavor 4.1 Texture and body ?j(t Color la Salt Ing .
