Show FUNERAL HELD FQRPIONEER The funeral of James Stewart, the Plain City pioneer, was held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Plain City meeting house. Bishop Henry Garner ofllciatlog. The speakers were Bishop Garner. Thomas Kngland, William England, YVlllard Cnrcr and Joseph Geddls. Music for the occasion was furnished by the ward choir, assisted by V. J Kenly, who sang a solo, "Face to Face." A large number of friends and relatives rela-tives t the deceased from Salt Lake, Ixigan, Preston, Ida , and Ogden were present to pay a last tribute to the dead and listen to the comforting words which eulogized Mr. Stewart's sturdy character and fruitful, eventful life. Interment was In the Plain City 1 cemetery. |
