Show MOVING PICTURES The program In the four houses for the week Just closed were the best we have shown for months. We expect ex-pect to equal those programs thl week for we have some excellent subjects. sub-jects. Vitagraph and Olograph means the very best hi pictures to patrons of Moving picture theaters and wo have tecurcd four of the first and three ot the latter for this week. We cau-not cau-not enumerate all our good feature pictures but the following will give some Idea of the treat In store for lovers lov-ers of Moving Pictures. PICTURESQUE PYRENXKES at the GLOBE. A trip through the PYREXXEES In the neighborhood of Bagneres de Luchon, giving an ml-piessive ml-piessive view of the wild and precipitous precipi-tous granite peaks of the Maladetta. A beautiful scenic picture of these famous mountains. VENICE, at the JOIE. A series of remarkably beautiful view's of tin Queen of the Adriatic. Tho open colonnades col-onnades of the Doge's palace and the Cathedral of St. Mark, well known fn two of tho wonder sights of the world. A picture of this kind would be incomplete without the famous Bridge of Slghe and the beautiful arch of the Rlalto Bridge which spans I ho Grand Canal. DELHI, at the ORACLE. Another beautiful pictirre illustrative of Indian In-dian life. As an additional Interest, this picture was token at a time whn a grand Mohammedan festival was In progress. IMMIGRANT'S PROGRESS IX CAXADA. at tho ISIS. A very Interesting Inter-esting educational picture, an Illustration Illustra-tion of the first five years' actual experience ex-perience of a Canadian Immigrant In the great northwestern prairie wheat belt. "IiCt he that Is without sin cast the first stone." A powerful sermon Is preached by these few words and the Olograph; Co., have pictured a strong lesson In Christian charity In their "THE WAY OF THE WORLD." at the ORACLE. The scenes of this production are laid at the historic San Gabriel mission, California. THE UNCHANGING SEA. at the ISIS. Another excellent Blograph picture pic-ture suggested by Charles Klngsley's poem, "The Three Fishermen." The scenic beauty of this subject Is very fine and was taken at a fishing village of Southern California. THE MERRY WIDOW la with us again and this time tho dear girl takes another partner. This Is a Vitagraph comedy and Is full of good Jolly laughs. The Blograph also gives a good comedy at the GLOBE In "AX AFFAIR OF HEART." This picture shows cupid In a very sportive mood. Another of Kalems pxcellfnt Indian stories at tho JOIE Is "CHIEF PLACKFOOT'S VINDICATION" The Kalem Co., Is notPd for their excellent Indian stories and this Is one of their best. We have good comics In each house and several very pretty songs with good music. You can always spend A PLEASANT PLEAS-ANT hour with us. |
