Among the largest and most beautiful emblems em-blems was a star from his many friends at Dee, Oregon. Th services were presided over by Bishop K. A. Olson. The following polo's were rendered: "Pnc 10 Kaco" by Melvln Savage; "Softly and Tenderly Ten-derly Jcaus Is Calling," by Miss Maude Bclnap; "Oh. My ftathcr," and tho "Chrlstlan'B Good Nlht," were Ming by Miss Bessie Blair. Apostle John Henry Smith, uncle of the d'-ceascd. was the principal speaker. He feelingly feel-ingly told of the noble lineage through which Cecil had come Into the world; of the eternity of the family relation, encourage the bereaved family to live righteous liven, that they might h worthy of each other's association in the next world to come. Professor Alma Rogers, who was in-Mntttor in-Mntttor at the Ogclen High school when the deceased was student there, told of the many excellent characteristics char-acteristics he had observed In tho young man and of the friendship no bore toward him. Klder E. A. Larkln spoke feelingly of his friendship for all the family and nleo comforted thm In the hope of a glorious resurrection. Bishop E. A. Olxen Indorsed the remarks re-marks of the previous upeakers and Invoked the blessing of comfort to come to the family. A large cortege followed the remains to the Ogden Ctly cemetery where tho Interment was made, the grave being dedicated by Ilyrum Bc-lnap. |
