Show WEBER ACADEMY SATURDAYRECiTAL The song recital given at the Weber We-ber Academy building by Mr. M. J. Brines and wife, Saturday evening, was a source of great pleasure to those who attended, and the audience felt duly compensated for their time and money. This number in the .lecture course of tho Weber Academy was to have been filled by the noted dramatic Impersonator, Im-personator, Leland Powers, but on account ac-count of Illness the professor was not able to keep his appointment, and Mr. Brines consented to make up the program. pro-gram. Mr. Powers is a man of great ability on the rostrum, but It would be difficult to furnish a more pleasing pleas-ing entertainment than that given by Mr. Brines Saturday nlgbt. Rarely gifted Is Mr. Brines as a singer, possessing a tenor voice of much power, a wide rane and beautiful beau-tiful quality. Coupled with this he showed almost perfect control, much depth of temperament and rare interpretative inter-pretative ability. The following program was rendered ren-dered by him.
