Show IfiiEETING OF THE COUNTY BOARD The giving of unlimited power to the county road commissioner marked the spsslon ot" the board of county commissioners held at the court house I today. At their session this morning a number num-ber of routine matters were dlscus-' dlscus-' sed at somo length, but no action taken. An adjournment was taken shortly before noon. Then the beard went iDto session again. Chairman Madson recommended that the blda for the sprinkling of the Ogden Canyon Can-yon road, three of which for $100 each had been received, be rejeced aud the sprinkling of the canyon road be referred to Road Commissioner Childs, with power to act. The recommendation rec-ommendation was adopted. County Clerk Dye was authorized to solicit bids for the pipe and material ma-terial for the proposed pipe linn for the establishing of the sprinkling sys tern on the state road south of the city limits and to tho Davis county line. Commissioner Bybee and Road Commissioner Childs, with County Attorney Jensen, were empowered to secure water rights for the pipe lluo from Stephens brothers. On the recommendation of the road commissioner, it was ordered that the road in the Bnrch Creek district he changed a quarter of a mile south to run east past the school house. The surveyor was instructed to make surveys sur-veys for the new road. |
